Motor and ESC Installation ARF
The recommended motor for this aircraft is the Spektrum Avian 5055-500Kv
brushless outrunner. Refer to the manual of your chosen motor for correct
installation and operation instructions.
1. Mount the speed control inside the fuselage using a hook and loop strap.
2. Route the leads to the motor through the opening in the firewall.
3. Place a drop of threadlock on each of the M4 x 15 machine screws. Use a large
Phillips screw driver (PH#2) to tighten the screws.
4. Secure the motor box to the firewall using four M4 x 15 machine screws, four
M4 washers and four M4 lock washers. Use a large Phillips screw driver (PH#2)
to tighten the screws.
