Press button to enter the ordinary user "BIG FONT" data review in boot-
strap interface. Display content is similar to ambulatory blood pressure BIG
FONT data review.
⚫ Ordinary User "LIST" Data Review
Press button to pop up the ordinary user data "LIST" in the ordinary user
BIG FONT data review interface. Display content is similar to ambulatory
blood pressure data list.
⚫ Ordinary User "TREND" Data Review
Press button to pop up the ordinary user data "TREND" in the ordinary
user LIST data review interface. Display content is similar to ambulatory
blood pressure trend.
Press button to exit the interface, and return the ABPM working interface.
Chapter4 NIBP Measuring
4.1 General
◼ The Non-invasive Blood Pressure (NIBP) module measures the blood pres-
sure using the oscillometric method. It is that: using the blade to block ar-
tery blood, checking the oscillometric wave during degassing for sure that
it was not affected by the operator's subjective factors or the disruption
of the environmental noise.
◼ There are two modes of measurement available: manual and automatic.
Each mode displays the diastolic, systolic and MAP blood pressure and
pulse rate.
◼ It is applicable for adult, pediatric, and neonatal usage.
Warning
Prolonged non-invasive blood pressure measurements in Auto mode may be
associated with purport, ischemia and neuropathy in the limb wearing the
cuff. When monitoring a patient, examine the extremities of the limb fre-
quently for normal color, warmth and sensitivity. If any abnormality is ob-
served, stop the blood pressure measurements.
Warning
You must not perform NIBP measurements on patients with sickle-cell dis-
ease or under any condition which the skin is damaged or expected to be
damaged.
For a thrombasthemia patient, it is important to determine whether meas-
urement of the blood pressure shall be done automatically. The determina-
tion should be based on the clinical evaluation.
