Chapter2 Getting Started
2.1 Open the Package and Check
Open the package and take out the equipment and accessories carefully.
Keep the package material for possible future transportation or storage.
Check the components according to the packing list.
◼ Check for any mechanical damage.
◼ Check all the cables, modules and accessories.
If there is any problem, contact the distributor immediately.
2.2 Battery Installation
The instrument will be supplied with two 'AA' alkaline batteries or high ca-
pacity. Before using the instrument, you shall put the battery in the battery
box in the back of the Monitor.
① Demount the battery cover in the direction of the arrow.

Note
Icon : the batteries power will exhaust, the device prompts "Low bat-
tery" at the same time. Replace with two new batteries (the same sort) at
this time. Test while low power may cause data deviation and other prob-
lems.
Cautions
◼ Turn the unit off before replacing the batteries.
◼ Please use 2 AA-size manganese or alkaline batteries, do not use batteries
of other types. Otherwise, it may cause fire.
◼ New and old batteries, different kinds batteries can not be put off. Other-
wise, it may cause battery leakage, heat, rupture, and damage to the mon-
itor.
◼ "+" and "-" polarities of the batteries must match the polarities of the bat-
tery compartment as indicated. When the batteries power exhausts, re-
place with 2 new batteries at the same time.
◼ Please take out the batteries when you do not use the device for a long
time (more than ten days). Otherwise, it may cause battery leakage, heat,
rupture, and damage to the monitor.
◼ If electrolyte of battery gets in your eyes, immediately rinse with plenty of
