Use as designated
The compressors specified in the Operating Instructions
have only been designed to produce compressed air
within 10 bar. The appropriate area of use can be found
in "Consumption of air of pneumatic appliances/instructions
for use". The compressors are not suitable for continuous
operation or, more precisely, unlimited industrial
operation.
General safety instructions
The Operating Instructions must be read thoroughly before
using the appliance for the first time. If there are any doubts
regarding the appliance connection and operation, please
contact the manufacturer (service department).
TO ENSURE HIGH LEVEL OF SAFETY, PLEASE FOLLOW
CAREFULLY THESE INSTRUCTIONS:
CAUTION!
NOTE: Any unauthorised treatment and inadequate
servicing of these compressors may lead to injury of the
user. To avoid such risk, the below-mentioned
instructions must be followed!
Please read carefully all the instructions and follow
them!!
CAUTION: Before being put into operation, compressors
used for industrial purposes must be inspected by an
expert in accordance with the operating safety regulation
and then are subject to regular inspections by an expert.
The compressor must not be installed to a vehicle
without being inspected by an expert!
The compressor must be checked by an expert at regular
intervals if installed in a room without its position being
changed!
The compressor may only be operated with connections
fitted with a safety switch against stray current (FI) 30
mA.
Caution! The compressor may only be used with
appropriate wheels and rubber buffers.
Check the oil level before putting the appliance into
operation for the first time and every time the appliance
is then to be used (see the information in the "Oil filler
neck and oil level check" Chapter)
Never put the compressor into or out of operation using
the plug. Press the pressure switch so that relief can be
activated.
The compressor does not get relieved even in case of
short-term power outage and can therefore be a source
of risk.
Caution! When installed to automatic devices,
appropriate alarm or safety equipment must be installed
in case of power outage or wrong function or compressor
failure
(e.g. feeding lines, etc.)
Never hold the air current in body outlets as this could
lead to fatal injuries!
Caution! The pneumatic hose may hit you when the
quick-acting coupling is opened! – Hold the pneumatic
hose.
At the end of a working day, the compressor must always
be switched off by ON/OFF, air jet emptied and
unplugged. Never let the compressor plugged over night
as it could become a source of danger.
Never let the appliance unattended.
Unplug the appliance before any adjustment or servicing.
1
Do not touch the appliance when running!
Never put your hands, fingers or other body parts near
the moving parts of the compressor.

is installed.
Never start the compressor if all protective equipment
(e.g. protective covers, belt guard, safety valve) is not
fitted properly; if such protective equipment must be
removed to provide maintenance or repair, they must be
refitted before the compressor is put into operation
again.
3
Protective glasses and ear-protectors must be worn
at all times.
Wear protective glasses or appropriate eyes and ears
protection at all times. Never aim the compressed air
current at your body or other persons.
4
Protective equipment against electric shock to be
used at all times
Do not use the compressor near water or in a moist
environment.
5
Putting the compressor out of operation
Switch off and unplug the compressor. Bleed the air jet
before any repair, revision, servicing, cleaning or change
of construction parts.
6
Unintentional appliance starting
Do not transport the compressor if it is connected to
electrical power or if the air jet is under pressure. Before
connecting the compressor to the power source, make
sure that the pressure sensor switch is in the OFF
position.
7
Proper storing of the compressor
When the compressor is not used, store it in a dry place
protected from climatic influences. Keep the appliance
out of reach of children.
