TROUBLESHOOTING
PROBABLE CAUSE
1 - Only certain systems are
equipped with light volume
variation system.
2 - Other cause
1 - User is not positioned
at correct distance with
respect to light spot.

- Bulb has failed during
operation.
- 6000 and 8000 cupolas have
several bulbs. Certain bulbs
do not operate.
Voltmeter not suited to
shape of voltage measured

CORRECTIVE ACTION
Call engineering department.
Call engineering department.
Check if cupola is equipped or not with a camera.
If cupola is equipped with a camera, cupola does not
have a light volume variation function (see chapter I,
para B2).
If cupola is not equipped with a camera, call
engineering department.
Call engineering department.
Check operation of light volume variation control by
taking position at 1 meter from illuminated surface.
- When handle is turned clockwise to its limit stop
position, light spot is enlarged (Wide).
- When handle is turned counter-clockwise to its limit
stop position, light spot is reduced (Narrow).
If mechanism does not operate, call engineering
department.
Switch off power supply and replace bulb(s) (at end of
surgical procedure).
