10.5. Klafs Evaporator EL2: Removing/installing the outlet
valve
Caution!
Before starting maintenance work, decommission the Klafs Evaporator EL2 and make
sure that it cannot be switched on again.

Removing the outlet valve

The steam cylinder must be removed before you can remove the outlet valve - see page 49.
1.
Pull the wire (1) off the outlet valve.

The polarity of the wires is irrelevant.
2.
Release the hose clamp (2) and pull off the filling hose.
3.
Unscrew the two fastening screws (3) with a suitable screwdriver and remove the outlet valve.
4.
Disassemble the outlet valve.
Installing the outlet valve
1.
Install the outlet valve in reverse order.

Check the O-rings for damage and replace if necessary before reassembling the outlet valve.
