8.4.
Information on troubleshooting the Klafs Evaporator EL2
Important:
Decommission the Klafs Evaporator EL2 before troubleshooting.
Caution!
Repairs must only be carried out by authorised qualified engineers.
When a fault occurs, the controller checks whether the fault is temporary and whether it
can rectify it itself by implementing appropriate measures.
These kinds of faults are not displayed in standard operation mode. However, a
corresponding fault code is generated with the status "Warning".

Notice: If the cause of the fault rectifies itself or if the controller rectifies the fault,
the fault is automatically reset.
If the controller fails to rectify the fault even after several attempts (number of attempts
depends on the type of fault) or if the fault will not allow operation to continue, the
power supply to the heater is interrupted by the main contactor and the red LED lights
up in standard operation mode. At the same time, a corresponding fault code is
generated with the status "Error".
8.5.
Calling up fault analysis (info mode)
1.
Press the drain/info button for at least three seconds until the yellow or red LED starts flashing
intermittently.

In info mode, the number of times the red LED flashes indicates the first digit and the number of
times the yellow LED flashes indicates the second digit of the fault code.

Exiting info mode:
Info mode is automatically cancelled after five minutes.
