Equipment faults
Cause Cause
Phase failure of heating voltage.
Obstructed water supply/shut-off valve
closed/insufficient water pressure.
Blocked or defective inlet valve.
Excessive back pressure in the steam line
(excessive channel pressure, steam line too
long or steam line bent), resulting in a loss of
water pressure via the water cup.
Leakage in the water system.
Required humidity has fallen too quickly.
Outlet valve defective, check/replace outlet
valve.
Obstructed flow in the steam cylinder.
Conductivity for cylinder type too high.
Outlet valve defective.
Obstructed flow in the steam cylinder.
Conductivity for cylinder type too high.
The main contactor is blocked in the active
position.
Remedy Remedy
Check/switch on the service switch in the
power supply line. Check/replace fuses in
the power supply line.
Check water supply (filter, lines, etc.),
check/open shut-off valve, check water
pressure.
Check mesh in inlet valve, clean if
necessary. Replace valve.
Check channel pressure, check steam
installation. If necessary, install the pressure
compensation kit (see options).
Check/seal water system.
Automatic adaptation of the operating point.
Clean/replace steam cylinder.
Select correct cylinder type.
Check/replace outlet valve.
Clean/replace steam cylinder.
Select correct cylinder type.
Check/replace main contactor.
