3 Description of the Product
3.1 Features
The product is a modular fire-fighting pump set driven by an electric motor.
The GEMJ model is equipped with a jockey pump.
It's designed for automatic start and - with the exception of the version intended for networks
with fire hydrants, and/or specific installations complying with local regulations - for manual
stop only.
Intended use
Powering of automatic fire-fighting systems:
• With sprinklers
• With fire hydrants.
Pumped liquids
Water:
• Clean
• Free of solid, abrasive or fibrous substances
• Chemically non-aggressive.

DANGER:
It is prohibited to start the pump set in environments with potentially
explosive atmospheres or with combustible dusts.
DANGER:
It is prohibited to use this pump set to pump flammable and/or explosive
liquids.
