Pump set
Check:
• If applicable, the presence and level of the lubricant oil: fill and top up as necessary using
• The condition of the flexible coupling between the motor and the pump
• The status and maintenance of the pump
• The connection of the minimum pump flow line
• That there are no leaks.
Refer to the motor and pump instruction manuals for more information.
Electric panel and circuit
Check:
• The ground insulation of the control panel
• The connection of the outer protective conductor (ground)
• The powering of the auxiliary circuits.
8.5 Selection of the operating mode
Automatic mode
1. Set the selector switch to AUT.
2. Remove the key.
Lockout mode 0
Use lockout mode for carrying out checks and maintenance activities: the motor pump does
not start and the control panel manual start commands are disabled.
Set the selector switch to 0: if running, the motor stops.
Manual mode
Use manual mode for setup, check and maintenance activities.
1. Set the selector switch to MAN.
2. If running, the motor does not stop: press STOP on the control panel to stop the motor.

Pump priming
1. Open the on-off valve at the suction.
2. Prime the pump and the suction pipe: refer to the pump instruction manual.
