I – Le unit does not light up:
(light not on)
II – The unit lights up but nothing works:
(manual override doesn't work either):
III – The wing moves down loudly or jerks
IV– Automatic lifting time of the wings is too long or
too short.
V – The time for the furrowers to move up or down is
too slow or too fast.
VI – The unit displays "high position" while the
planter is in work position:
If the problem still persists after checking all these points, please contact your distributor or our customer service centre.
BREAKDOWNS AND INCIDENTS
Incidents
Causes and solutions
- The voltage of the tractor's power point must be 12V.
- Check to make sure that the emergency stop button is not pressed in.
- Check that the 10A fuse inside the control panel has not blown.
-Ensure the tractor's oil level is sufficient.
-Ensure that the hydraulic unit is turning and that the oil is circulating in the right
direction (see Fig. A).
- Make sure the check valve is securely in place (see Fig. A).
- Make sure the main excess flow valve is not closed (see Fig. B).
Remove the hydraulic unit casing
- Turn on the hydraulic unit and then using a thin screwdriver, press on the head
of the EVBP + EV "x" spool to manually control (see Fig. C).
EVBP + EV 1 = unfold left wing
EVBP + EV 2 = fold left wing
EVBP + EV 3 = unfold right wing
EVBP + EV 4 = fold right wing
EVBP + EV5 = Telescopic section out
EVBP + EV6 = Telescopic section in
EVBP + EV7 = unfold left furrower
EVBP + EV8 = fold left furrower
EVBP + EV9 = unfold right furrower
EVBP + EV10 = fold right furrower
- The check valve is blocked.
Unplug the return hose. Then press hard on the end of the push-pull to release the
pressure (see Fig. D).
This action causes oil splatter. Place a cloth around the valve to limit this
from happening.
-Once the procedure has been completed, hook the hoses back up as they were
before.
If the valve was blocked, reverse the tractor distribution unit direction.
- Make sure that the 11 connectors for the electrovalves are thoroughly tightened.
- Check the connector between the control panel and the frame unit (see the 4
sheets Fig. E, use pliers to make sure they are firmly joined).
- Increase the level of oil arriving from tractor. Unscrew the main excess flow
valve on the planter hose (P) (see Fig. B).
- Change the time settings in the programmable logic controller (see page 30 in
manual).
- To make the operation last longer, increase the time.
- To make it shorter, decrease the time.
- To increase the speed, turn the flow limiter counter clockwise.
- To decrease the speed, turn the flow limiter valve clockwise
(See Fig. F).
- A component sensor has been displaced. Make sure that when the planter is
lifted, the magnet is facing opposite the sensor (see Fig. G).
