16 Troubleshooting

Ask for assistance from skilled personnel if:
• The unit is damaged after being dropped;
• There is noticeable deterioration in performance
of the unit.
• The unit does not work properly, even though
all the instructions in this handbook have been
followed.
The product does not go on.
PROBLEM
Wiring error, blown fuse.
CAUSE
SOLUTION
Make sure the connections are
correct. Check the continuity of the
fuses and replace them with the
indicated models should they fail.
The saved preset positions do
PROBLEM
not correspond to the camera
range.
Loss of absolute position reference
CAUSE
point.
SOLUTION
Follow the calibration procedure for
Pan & Tilt from the keyboard (refer
to the relative manual) or reset the
unit by switching it on and off.
Under special zoom conditions,
PROBLEM
the housing or sunshield
interfere with the image being
shot (only for versions with
motorised zoom lens).
The position of the camera or lens
CAUSE
is too far back in relation to the
window.
SOLUTION
Adjust the position of the camera
and lens.
MNVCUPTDMB_2104_EN
A blue display appears instead
PROBLEM
of the footage with the
following indication: No Video
Signal!!!.
Incorrect wiring of the camera or
CAUSE
failed camera.
SOLUTION
Make sure the connections are
correct. For the version with
the SONY module, contact your
authorised service centre.
During start-up the pan & tilt is
PROBLEM
disabled and the following type
of message is shown:
DE-ICE PROCEDURE

WARNING
Deice Procedure ON
Time Remaining: 59m 30s
Air temperature is very low.
CAUSE
SOLUTION
Wait until the end of the pre-heating
procedure. If the room temperature
is too low the pan & tilt is blocked
and shows the following screen:
SYSTEM BLOCKED
------------------------
WARNING!
LOW TEMPERATURE
