From time to time remove the spark plug with the key
provided and eliminate the deposits from the space be-
tween the porcelain insulator of the central electrode and
the body of the plug.
At the same time use a feeler gauge to check that the
distance between the electrodes is from
(Fig. 32). If the distance is incorrect, bend the side elec-
trode towards the centre one. Never attempt to bend the
centre electrode, to avoid possible damage to the porce-
lain insulation.
Recommended spark plug: BOSCH W 3CC
Use only the correct type of spark plug;
spark plugs with the wrong heat rating may
cause faulty operation.

After the
first 500 km
. clean the petrol inlet filter to the
carburettor and the jets, then repeat this operation
5000 km.

Démonter périodiquement la bougie avec la clé en
éliminant les incrustations existants dans l'espace entre
la porcelaine porte-électrode centrale et le corps de la
bougie.
En même temps, à l'aide d'un épaisseurmètre, vérifier
que la distance entre les électrodes soit comprise entre
0,4
0,6 mm
et
(Fig. 32). Dans le cas contraire, ap-
procher l'électrode externe à celle interne. On ne doit
jamais agir sur l'électrode centrale afin d'éviter de
possibles ruptures de la porcelaine isolante.

Utiliser exclusivement des bougies de type
prescrit. Des bougies avec un degré ther-
mique incorrect peuvent causer des incon-
vénients fonctionnels.
