Machine oil checking

Check oil level weekly. Always keep oil level between the HI
and LO mark. Add oil when necessary. To check oil level:
• Make sure engine is has been turned off for more than 3
minutes, otherwise level may not be accurate.
• Park the motorcycle on a flat surface,，look over the engine
oil dipstick on the oil pot，if the engine oil level is under the lower
scale line, refill the recommended lubricating oil until the oil level
reaches the upper-middle limit。
Change engine oil every 2000 Km at an Approved Service
Center. Recommended oil: high quality 4-stroke machine oil ,as
Class SAE 10W40 or 15W40 API SF / SG, JASO MA. in viscosity
will help maintain a long service life of the engine .In case those are
not available ,a substitute suitable for the ambient temperature of
application should be selected according to the table on the table
below
Engine oil level is between the upper and lower
scale lines
Refilling method: Remove the oil filler plug, refill the engine
oil slowly with a funnel until the oil level in the engine oil dipstick
reaches the upper-middle limit. Then insert the oil filter plug and
screw it up.
Replacement of lubricating oil
While replacing lubricating oil, it shall be carried out before the
engine has cooled down. This will ensure quick and complete
discharge of the engine oil inside the crankcase.
When replacing, unscrew the oil drain plug and discharge the
waste engine oil, and then clean the oil drain plug, engine oil
strainer, engine oil filter, etc. Finally, insert the oil drain plug.
Unscrew the oil filter plug and slowly refill 1.8L new engine oil of the
specified trademark into the crankcase, then insert the oil filter plug.
