Troubleshooting

E = XX is displayed. A fault is present. Use the table to determine the fault.
Fault
Low flow rate
Cause

Worn spray nozzle

Spray nozzle clogged

Material container empty

Intake strainer clogged

Inlet valve ball and/or piston
ball not moving freely/not
sealing

Suction hose connections

Device filter, gun filter or
nozzle is clogged or dirty.

Suction valve is leaking

Make sure the pump does
not continue operation when
the trigger is released. (Suc-
tion valve is not tight).
10.
Leak
around
the
packing
nuts, which may indicate
worn or damaged seals.

Piston rod damaged

Low cut-out pressure

Piston seals are worn or
damaged
Remedy
1.
Observe the warning for the pressure relief procedure,
then replace the nozzle.
2.
Depressurise. Check and clean spray nozzle.
3.
Fill container, vent the device, suction of material
4.
Remove and clean, then reinstall
5.
Remove and clean the inlet valve. Check the balls and
seats for defects and nicks; replace if necessary; strain
the paint before use in order to remove impurities that
could cause clogging.
6.
Tighten any loose connections. Check for missing or
damaged seals.

Clean filter;
8.
Depressurise. Check inlet valve and seals.
9.
See 7.
10.
Replace seals; also check the piston rod for hardened
paint residues or nicks and replace if necessary. Tighten
packing nut.
11.
Replace.
12.
Turn the pressure control knob fully clockwise. Make sure
the pressure control knob is correctly assembled and that
it can be rotated fully clockwise. If the problem persists,
replace the pressure sensor.
13.
Replace seals.
