3. Attach the intake valve housing again and tighten it
with a socket wrench up to 13.5 Nm.
NOTE:
The intake valve may NOT be tightened too much. This
may cause damage to the device.

Troubleshooting

NOTE:
Prior to taking the device to a STORCH service technician, check all of the points indicated in the troubleshooting
table.
Problem
The spray device doesn't
make any noise when the
trigger is pulled.
The spray device makes
noise, but material does not
come out when the trigger is
pulled.
Cause
The trigger safety lock is active.
The status display glows RED when the
trigger is pulled; this means that the batte-
ry charge is too low.
The status display blinks RED when the
trigger is pulled; the batetry is too hot for
operation.
The status display does not glow when the
spray device is operated.
The spray device is not ventilated.
The ventilation/discharge valve in the
upwards position.
The inlet pipe is missing or is attached
incorrectly.
The intake valve is clogged with material
that has remained within the spray device.
The nozzle is not in the spray position.
The nozzle is clogged.
The sieve on the intake pipe is clogged.

4. Check the intake valve with a thin stick to check if it is
able to move freely up and down.
Solution
Remove the "trigger safety lock". See
page 28
Replace this with a charged battery and
place the old battery in the charging
device.
Allow the battery to cool down.
The battery is not inserted or is dama-
ged.
Ventilate the pump. See "Refilling the
hopper", page 31
Turn the valve downwards into the
spray position.
Check to ensure that the intake pipe is
installed properly.
Move the intake valve with a thin stick
to check if it is able to move freely up
and down. See "intake valve", page 44
Turn the nozzle to the spray position.
