Control board for 240 V
Removal
Perform Pressure Relief Procedure; page 7.
Wait 5 minutes before servicing.
1.
Disconnect the mains plug.
2.
Remove the motor cover:
a. Undo the screws from the motor cover.
b. Remove the pressure tube from the sprayer.
c. Undo the lower screw of the toolbox.
d. Loosen (but do not remove) four nuts on the shelf. Carefully slide the shelf forwards.
e. Remove the cover.
f. Slide the shelf back in position and tighten the four nuts on the shelf.
3.
Remove all four screws (38) and the cover (96).
4.
Disconnect the display connection from the motor control board (69).
5.
Remove the lower two screws (39). Disconnect the potentiometer connection (82) from the motor control board
(69). Disconnect the mains cable contacts and the filter housing connections from the ON/OFF switch (33)
and remove the panel (68).
6.
Disconnect the motor control board power connections.
7.
Remove the top two screws (39) and control housing (61).
8.
Disconnect the transducer connection from the motor control board.
9.
Disconnect the motor connections.
10. Remove six screws (39), two screws (13) and the control board (69).
Installation
1.
Use acetone or an equivalent cleaner to thoroughly remove thermal paste from the recess
on the rear of the board.
2.
Apply thermal paste:
a.
For devices shown in Fig. 1 below, apply a small amount
of thermal paste to the shaded areas at the rear of motor

control board (69).

Note
To reduce risk of motor control board failure, do not overtighten screws which can damage the electric components.
b.
For devices shown in Fig. 2 below, apply a small amount
of thermal paste to both recesses of the power bar and
use the supplied scraper to distribute the paste evenly to
leave an even layer.
