SWING GATES

3.3 Operator front positioning

•
Move the gate to closed position.
•
Unlock the operator by rotating the unlock key by 90°
(see par.5.1) and make sure that it is in mechanical stop
closing position keeping a clearance of +5mm from the
end stop.
• Insert the pin (abundantly greased) underneath the
operator (fig.12) in the front connection hole to be
fastened to the gate and fasten the parts using the
flanged nut supplied
.
•
Manually slide the front connection up to the end of
stroke at the operator far end.
•
Place a spirit level on the guard and level the operator.
IMPORTANT: a MAX inclination of ± 3° is permitted
considering the gate movement or minor installation
errors.
•
Fasten the operator to the gate through the front
connection, using the proper screws.
IMPORTANT: the front connection must be
PARALLEL to the operator.

3.4 Mechanical installation check

•
With operator still unlocked check, by opening and
closing the leaf, that the operator can move freely and
with no friction and without coming into contact with the
leaf or the pillar. Check the opening angle.
•
After the check, reset the block by rotating the unlock
key by 90° and move the gate to closing position (see
par. 5.1). WARNING: Move the gate slowly without
jerking it.
3.5 Version with end-stroke mechanical stops
The adjustment of the stops is mandatory when the
gate is NOT provided with mechanical stops on the
ground.
•
With gate closed, move the closing stop fully home on
the block and fasten it.
•
Open the gate at 90° MAX (if it is necessary unlock the
operator: see par.5.1), move the opening stop fully home
on the block and fasten it.
