OPERATOR FOR SWING GATES
3.3

Front operator placement

• Close the gate.
• Release the operator by turning the release key through
(see
par.5.1). Ensure that the operator is at the closing
180°
mechanical limit stop.
• Grease the operator lower pin (f g.12-ref.A) and insert it in
the hole of the frontal coupling to be fi xed to the gate. Then
secure the parts using the supplied fl anged nut ref.B.
• Slide the front mounting by hand as far as the stroke limiter

• Using a spirit level on the casing, level the operator (f g.13).
IMPORTANT: The maximum permitted angle
gate movements or installation tolerances is ± 3°.
• Secure the operator to the gate with the front mounting
using the screws as shown in
IMPORTANT: The front mounting must be PARALLEL to the
operator.

Checking the mechanical installation

• Check that the operator can move freely without friction
and without touching the wing or the pillar. Check by opening
and closing the wing with the operator released. Check the
opening angle.
• Once you have made the check, lock the operator by
turning the release key through 180° and closing the gate
(see par. 5.1). WARNING: Move the gate slowly. Do not push,
pull or force it.

Adjustment of mechanical limit stops

If the gate does not have a mechanical stop f xed to
the ground, you must adjust opening and closing
mechanical limit stops.
• With the gate closed, move the closing mechanical limit
stop up to the plastic block
position.
• Open the gate to MAX 90° (if necessary release the
par.
5.1). Move the opening limit stop up to the
operator: see
(f g.16)
plastic block
