4. CONTROLS AND ADJUSTMENTS
With leaf in motion, check the thrust force at the leaf tip
using a dynamometer. It must never exceed 15 kg (147 N).
Otherwise, adjust the operating force on the electronic
equipment (see Advanced programming in the Manual of
the electronic equipment).
!
Warning
After the adjustment
check again with the dynamometer that the push force
value corresponds to the expected one; if this is not the
case, it is necessary to carry out another push
adjustment.
If the leaf movement requires an excessive push force,
check with care the mechanics, the perpendicularity and
the frictions of the leaf. Moreover, apply further presence
detection devices to the system, such as photocells,
flanks, etc., after a careful risk analysis.
IMPORTANT! We remind that, according to Machinery
Directive 2006/42 EC
at the end of installation it is
,
necessary to draft a Declaration of Conformity of the
machine and a Proposal of Scheduled Maintenance and
issue such documents to the user. For maintenance,
refer to par.5.2
5. CORRECT USE OF THE OPERATOR
The automation is intended and designed for use on swing
leaf gates for residential household use, with a maximum
number of 50 manoeuvres per day.
6.
Comply with the leaf dimensions recommended in the
technical specifications of the product.
7.
Carefully read the general warnings provided.
The operator is irreversible, therefore if it is not operating or is
not powered, it does not allow to move the gate leaf if the
drive is not unlocked (read par.5.1).

Drive unlock for manual gate movement
(EMERGENCY MANOEUVRE)
To manually move the gate, for example in case of blackout and
without batteries, it is necessary to unlock the operator
!
To carry out this

manoeuvre
you have to be at the inner side of the gate, in case of
blackout you have to be able to access
the inside through another access.
Drive release
• Insert the unlock key supplied and rotate it by 90° (Fig.17).
• Move the gate slowly by hand without jerking it.

5.2 Scheduled maintenance
You should ask the company that installs the automation to
provide a scheduled maintenance plan in compliance with the
regulations for this type of equipment.
Do not throw away old batteries with household waste.
Dispose of old batteries using the old battery containers
provided at sales outlets
Batteries are consumables and as such are not covered by the

rear connection of each operator.
Check the manual emergency unlock
efficiency.
Check the efficiency of operator stroke
mechanical stop, version FM.
Check efficiency and lubrication of gate
hinges.
Check the robustness of the frame of
leaves and, if necessary, tighten or
strengthen the weakened parts.
Clean the striker of the electric lock (if
installed).
