7.2.2 "Easy Alu Toggle" function
Automatic correcting the Alu proposed
Depending on the gauge contact points on the rim, the
machine has interpreted a probable Alu mode required
by the user. Every time the Alu presented by the machine
does not correspond exactly to the one required it can be
corrected using the "Easy Alu Toggle" function.
Press the F4 key (Fig. 7-7) if you want the alternative
Alu mode to that suggested for the rim being worked
on.
Note:
The Alu can only be changed before the run or before
the imbalance display request (gauges are applied after
the run to select a completely different Alu.
The position for adhesive weights can be precisely located
with the Auto-Stop-System ASS after the measuring run.
7.3
Menu settings
The wheel dimensions to be entered are usually given on the
rim (in inches or mm on standard wheels, in mm on TD or
TRX wheels). Rim diameter is also given on the tyre.
Read the rim dimensions before clamping the wheel on the
balancer.
To make a setting using the Menu, you must:
On the MAIN MENU (Fig. 7-8) press the F4 MENU key and
select the
RIM DATA ENTRY
The
RIM DATA ENTRY
screen (Fig. 7-10) will open.
or
On the BALANCING screen (Fig. 7-9) press the F4 MENU
key and select the RIM DATA ENTRY item 1.
The RIM DATA ENTRY screen (Fig. 7- 10) will open.

7.2.2 Fonction Easy Alu Toggle
Correction de l'Alu automatiquement proposée
En fonction du ou des points de contact de la pige de
mesure sur la jante, la machine a interprété un mode Alu
probable voulu par l'opérateur. Si l'Alu présenté ne
correspond pas exactement à celui voulu par l'opérateur,
il sera possible de le corriger avec la fonction "Easy Alu
Toggle".
Presser la touche F4 (Fig. 7-7) si on souhaite obtenir
le mode Alu alternatif à celui présenté pour la jante en
usinage.
Nota Bene:
Le changement d'Alu est consenti uniquement avant
d'effectuer une lancée ou avant la demande d'affichage
des balourds (application des piges après la lancée,
pour la sélection d'un Alu complètement différent).
La position des masses adhésives peut, après la lancée
de mesure, être commandée précisément à l'aide du
système auto-stop ASS.
7.3
Réglages depuis le menu
Les dimensions de roue à entrer sont la plupart du temps
inscrites sur la jante (pour roue standard en pouces ou en
mm, pour roue TD et TRX en mm). Le diamètre de la jante
est porté sur le pneu.
Lire les dimensions de la jante avant de la bloquer sur
l'équilibreuse.
Pour effectuer les réglages à l'aide du menu, vous devez :
Dans le menu PRINCIPAL (Fig. 7-8), appuyer sur la
touche F4 MENU et sélectionner l'option 1
DONNEES DE

L'écran ENTREE DONNEES DE JANTE (Fig. 7-10) s'affiche.
ou
Sur l'écran EQUILIBRAGE (Fig. 7-9), appuyer sur la
touche F4 MENU et sélectionner l'option 1 ENTREE
