2) When rasng the sewng machne, push feed base 2 away from you (n the drecton of the arrow), then
hold perphery rbs 1 located on the front sde of the sewng machne bed to slowly lft t.
At ths tme, do not hold feed base 2 and feed guide shaft fixing base 3 .
DANGER :
1. Do not hold any part other than periphery ribs 1 of machine head.
2. Confirm that hinge stopper 4 is locked with support shaft 5 .
CAUTION :
If you raise the sewing machine from its home position with the feed base remained near side, the feed
base can move to pinch hands and fingers leading to an unexpected injury.

3) When returnng the sewng machne, support
perphery rbs 1 of the machne bed wth your left
hand, hold grp 4 of the hnge stopper secton
wth your rght hand, pull t to ths sde (drecton A)
to release the lock and slowly lower the sewng
machne after confrmng that there s no tool
such as screwdrver and the lke n the bottom
cover.
4) Take your rght hand off from the hnge stopper
secton, support perphery rbs 1 of machne
bed wth your both hands, and further lower the
sewng machne.
DANGER :
1. Do not lower the sewing machine while
keeping pulling the hinge stopper in
direction A, in order to prevent pining
of fingers, hands and arms under the
sewing machine leading to a serious
injury.
2. Do not hold feed base 2 and feed guide
shaft fixing base 3 .
