Metering media

CAUTION!
Use of metering media:
– The metering system may only be used with products that have been
validated by Ecolab.
– The materials/media to be deployed for the intended use of the machine
are to be procured and used by the owner/operator.
– Correct handling of these materials/media and the risks involved are the
sole responsibility of the owner/operator.
– Hazard warnings and disposal instructions must be provided by the
owner/operator.
– When dealing with the metering medium, use suitable protective
clothing (see the material safety data sheet for the metering medium).
– All safety regulations for the handling of chemicals must be maintained
and the information contained in the material safety data sheet/product
data sheet of the metering medium must be observed.
Liability is not accepted if invalidated products are used!
NOTICE!
The details on the dosing medium safety sheet must be strictly observed;
operating personnel must be trained accordingly (training must be
documented)!

Safety data sheets

The safety data sheet is primarily intended for the user so that they can take any steps
necessary for safeguarding their health and safety at work. Ecolab is well aware of the
importance of safety data sheets and the responsibility that they entail. The material
safety data sheets that Ecolab provides are subject to constant control and revision. This
guarantees that the current information is available at all times.
You will be provided with up-to-date safety data sheets for the products you are using with
the installation.
In the course of the continuous improvement and further development of Ecolab products,
it can happen that products change in their composition. It is possible that products may
even be replaced with other products. In both cases the safety data sheets will be updated
and sent to you. If you are not sure you have a current version of the safety data sheet,
please contact your Ecolab consultant. He will be glad to assist you in guaranteeing that
the measures for safeguarding health in the workplace are ensured.
The best thing to do is to post the safety data sheets right beside the equipment or next to
the containers so that the proper countermeasures can be implemented at once in the
event of an accident.
Persons familiar with the operation of the device must be instructed and trained
accordingly.
