Introduction
Before installation and operation, please read the operating
instructions and assembly plan carefully. It is essential to
comply with the illustrations and instructions..
Description of product
The Side Sectional Door (SSD) comprises vertical sections
to suit the height of the opening. The number of sections is
determined by the width of the opening.
The door is hung into the ceiling runner with the pulleys and
guided in the ground runner by guide rollers or brush guides.
The door can open to the right or left or in both directions
(symmetrical or asymmetrical) for two-leaf doors. The door is
moved sideways or inwards/rearwards by runner curves or
straight runners.
The ground runner is cast in the floor with drainage outlets to
the outside or screwed to the finished floor as a renovation
runner.
The curves used will vary depending on the wall-jut.
The door is fitted with two rubber profile seals on the lock
side and with brush seals on the inlet side and on the top
and bottom. Normstahl MAGIC 600 and MAGIC 1000 door
operators can be fitted to all Side Sectional Door models.
Delivery: Side Sectional Doors are delivered flat-packed.
As a coating of stoved polyester is applied to steel skins
before they leave the factory, no additional protection is
required.
Wood skins are pre-impregnated before leaving the factory
and have to be finish treated for long-term protection by the
customer immediately after installation.
Packaging: We use only recyclable materials. Our packaging
meets legal requirements and is suitable for environmentally-
friendly local disposal.
