13.1 Setting manual cooking
WARNING
Risk of fire!
Hot oil and fat ignite very quickly.
Never leave hot fat or oil unatten-

Only use heat-resistant oils and

fats.
Never add more than 250 ml oil to

the pot.
In the event of a fire never use wa-
▶
ter to put out burning oil or fat.
Switch off the appliance.
▶
Extinguish flames carefully using
▶
the lid, a fire blanket or similar
item.
Alcoholic vapours may catch fire in a
hot pot.
Never cook food at high temperat-
▶
ures with a high alcohol content.
Open the lid carefully.
▶
WARNING
Risk of scalding!
Bursts of steam, liquids boiling or
slopping over and splashes of fat
may cause scalding.
Do not allow liquids to boil over.

Do not lean over the appliance.
▶
Do not exceed the maximum per-

mitted capacity of 3 l.
Open the lid carefully.
▶
Take special care when adding hot
▶
liquids to the pot and do not stand
too close.
Place the appliance on a stable
▶
work surface.
Do not cover the filling hole in the
▶
inner lid or stick anything over it
and make sure it is not obstructed
by ingredients that have been ad-
ded.
Requirement: The ingredients are
ready for processing.
Switch the appliance on with
