Adjust the working width for LF-170/310

Because of large overlap of the screeding bars, it can happen, that the bedding material (sand, ground etc.)
collects between the sheets. To prevent this from happening, two additional clamping plates (shown in
blue) are provided. They always have to be used, if the working width is 235 cm or less.
1. Release all five ring nuts (4, 11).

If the desirable working width is 235 cm or less:
2a. Adjust the screeding bars (5) to the desired
working width.
4. Tighten all five ring nuts (4, 11) again.

If the desirable working width is more than 235 cm.
2b. Unscrew the ring (11) nuts and remove the
clamping plates (at the front and at the back).
3b. Attach the clamping plates outside to the
screeding bars (parking position, see figure)
