Maintenance and care
5.1
Clean the strainer of the vacuum generator
Check and clean (blow out) the strainer before using.
Also, observe the information in the manual of the vacuum generator ( e.g. industrial vacuum cleaner).
Regular maintanance of the vacuum generator is mandatory, to ensure safety when using.
5.2
Suction plate

At least once in a week clean the suction plate from adhering residues, dirt and dust. Clean the rubber
foam with compressed air or water steam.

Replace immediately damaged suction plate (cracks, holes, creasing).
●
Use cold cleaners for cleaning the device (no usage of petroleum ether or caustic fluids).
5.3
Leak test
Before each use, check the device for leakage.
5.4
Annual inspection
Check all suspension parts, as well as bolts and flaps. Check for cracks, wear, corrosion and function safety by
an expert.
5.5
Hints to the type plate
Type, serial-number and production year are very important for the identification of your device. If you need
information to spare-parts, warranty or other specific details please refer to this information.
The maximum carrying capacity/working load limit (WLL) is the maximum load which can be handled with
the device. Do not exceed this carrying capacity/working load limit (WLL).
If you use the device in combination with other lifting equipment (Crane, chain hoist, forklift truck,
excavator) consider the deadweight of the device.

Hints to the renting/leasing of PROBST devices
With every renting/leasing of PROBST devices the original operating instructions must be included
unconditionally (in deviation of the users country's language, the respective translations of the original
operating instructions must be delivered additionally)!
