5. Watch the frying process through the in-
spection window 2. The food cooks
very quickly when being fried. Please
observe the recommended frying times
as precisely as possible.
6. When the food to be fried is ready,
press the button for opening the lid 14,
and open the lid 1.
7. Figure C: take the frying baskets 3 or
the frying basket 4 out of the oil/fat
and hang them to drip with the holder
under the handle 6 on the front edge of
the oil container 8.
8. When the fat has dripped off, put the
food into a bowl or similar.
9. For additional frying processes, another
temperature must be set, if applicable.
10.Prior to each frying process, the device
should be given time to heat up until the
temperature control light READY 16 is
lit again.
11.When you finish frying, switch the tem-
perature controller 18 to MIN.
12.Switch the on/off switch O/I 24 on the
back of the device to O, to switch off the
device. The operation control light
POWER 17 and the temperature con-
trol light READY 16 will go out.
13.Pull out the mains plug 22 and allow
the device to cool.
8. Cleaning and
storage
DANGER of burns!
Let the deep fryer 9 cool down for ap-
prox. 2 hours before you move, empty,
or clean it.
DANGER! Risk of electric
shock!
Pull out the mains plug 22 from the wall
socket before cleaning the deep fryer 9.
WARNING! Risk of material damage!
Do not clean using sharp objects or
abrasive cleaning agents.
8.1 Removing lid
1. Press the button for opening the lid 14.
2. Figure B: use a narrow object (e.g. a
chopstick) to press in the small release
buttons 21 in the lid brackets 20 on the
back of the device. Simultaneously pull
the lid 1 upwards out of the lid brack-
ets 20.
3. After the lid 1 has been cleaned and
dried completely (see "Cleaning" on
page 34), place it back into the lid
brackets 20, so that it clicks into place
on both sides.
