7.4 Mounting handles for
frying baskets
The supplied handles 6 can be used both
with the large frying basket 4 and with the
small frying baskets 3.
- For the two small frying baskets 3 you
need one handle 6 each.
- For the large frying basket 4 you re-
quire two handles 6.
1. Figure D: press the metal brackets on
the handle 6 together.
2. Figure E: place the ends of the metal
brackets into the small lugs on the inside
of the frying basket 3/4 and allow the
metal brackets to move apart again.
3. Figure F: tilt the handle 6 towards the
outside until it clicks into place.
NOTE: only place the frying baskets 3/4
into the deep fryer 9 when you want to
place the food into the hot oil for frying.
Removing handles
DANGER of burns!
Allow the frying baskets 3/4 and the
metal brackets of the handles 6 to cool
before you remove them from the frying
baskets.
Proceed in reverse order to remove the han-
dles 6:
- Tilt the handle 6 inwards.
- Press the metal brackets together and
remove them from the small lugs.

7.5 Frying
FIRE HAZARD / DANGER of
burns!
Never let water drip into the hot frying
fat/oil.
The frying baskets 3/4 and the food to
be fried must be dry.
The device should only be operated
with dry hands.
During frying, hot steam escapes from
the openings in the lid 19. Be careful
not to put your hands into the steam.
Do not put the food to be fried into the
frying baskets 3/4 while they are hang-
ing over the hot oil. Small pieces might
fall into the oil and lead to splashes.
Never move the deep fryer 9 while it is
still hot!
1. Place the food to be fried into the frying
baskets 3 or the frying basket 4. The
frying baskets 3/4 must not be filled
above the MAX 5 marking.
2. When the temperature control light
READY 16 is lit, press the button for
opening the lid 14, and open the lid 1.
3. Now, carefully lower the frying bas-
kets 3 or the frying basket 4 into the oil.
The metal brackets of the handles 6
need to lie on the ridges 7.
4. Close the lid 1. It must click into place
firmly.
