Open the left cover (3) (depending on the direction of travel).

Make sure there is about 2 mm between the left flap (4) and the ground, otherwise loosen the
nuts (5) and make the adjustment using the proper tool.
WARNING: For the correct operation of the machine the distance of the flap from the
ground must be even throughout its length.
6.
Make sure there is about 2 mm between the rear flap (6) and the ground, otherwise loosen the
nuts (7) and make the adjustment using the proper tool.

Open the right cover (8) (depending on the direction of travel).

Make sure there is about 2 mm between the right flap (9) and the ground, otherwise loosen the
nuts (10) and make the adjustment using the proper tool.
WARNING: For the correct operation of the machine the distance of the flap from the
ground must be even throughout its length.
41. CENTRAL BRUSH REPLACEMENT
If the central brush is worn, this will affect its performance. Proceed as follows to replace:
1.
Make sure the electric brake is engaged, otherwise engage it using the lever located at the left
rear of the machine (working direction).
2.
Check the main switch (1) is in the "0" position, if this is not the case, turn the key by a quarter of
a turn to the left, and remove the key from the instrument panel.
3.
Check that the central brush is lifted from the ground, otherwise turn the lever (2)
counterclockwise.
WARNING: you are advised to always wear protective gloves, to avoid the risk of
serious injury to your hands.
4.
Open the left cover (3) (depending on the direction of travel).
5.
Remove the knobs (4) securing the left casing of the brush, turning them counterclockwise.
