7. EQUIPMENT COMPONENTS
(MAIN WORKING ELEMENTS OF THE MACHINE)
Get to know your machine: knowing exactly how the machine works is the best way
to guarantee safety and machine performance. Learn the function and location of all
commands. Carefully check that all controls on the machine are working properly.
The machine must be installed properly, operated correctly and serviced regularly
in order to prevent accidents and injuries.
List of parts and description (fig.11):
1 Vertical slide (mount/demount head-holder arm - allows vertical adjustment of the
mount/demount head).
2 Mount/demount head (to mount and demount the tire from the wheel).
3 Swing arm (for horizontal adjustment of the mount/demount head)
4 Tank tower (contains the compressed air required to feed the tubeless inflation system).
5 Swing arm adjustment knob.
6 Valve + pressure gauge (175 psi max. pressure relief valve and inflation pressure read-
out gauge).
7 Sliding clamp table (rotating table for supporting the wheel).
8 Sliding clamp (for locking the wheel to the table).
9 Table top rotation control pedal with three positions:
- position 0: table stopped
- pedal depressed (and held down with foot): clockwise rotation
- pedal lifted (and held up with foot): counterclockwise rotation
10 Sliding clamp closure control pedal with three positions: OPEN / CLOSE and CLAMP

11 Bead breaker pedal (operates bead breaker shoe 14)
12 Inflation pedal (three-position pedal to inflate the tire with the Doyfe inflator chuck 16).
13 Pressure gauge (to read tire inflation pressure).
14 Bead breaker shoe (mobile shoe to break bead from rim).
15 Lube bottle.
16 Doyfe inflator chuck (to clip to the tire valve for inflation purposes).
17 Release valve button (for manual release of excess air pressure from tire).
18 Bead lifting tool.
19 Rim support (mobile 2-position support for normal and racing wheels).
20 Rim-support operating lever.
21 Filter/lubricator and pressure regulator (air treatment unit that filters and lubricates the
air and restricts maximum supply pressure to 145 psi [10 bar]).
22 Inflation nozzles (air jets from nozzles expand tire walls during inflation of tubeless tires).
23 Vertical slide locking lever (blocks the mount/demount head on the edge of the rim).
24 Safety relief valve (maximum pressure 175 psi [12 bar]).
26 Protection kit for alloy wheels.
27 Pins for extensibile arm.
28 Blade protection.
