Possible cause, if a spark is observed at the spark plug
D. Incorrect fuel pressure
E. Defective solenoid valve
F. Leak in the pump's suction circuit
G. Dirty or damaged nozzle
H. Dirty fuel filter
Repair procedure
A. Incorrect electrode positioning
1. Disconnect the heater from the power socket
2. Remove the upper movable mantle
3. Disassemble the combustion chamber
4. Verify that electrode assembly was carried out according to the specifications indicated in section 4
under the item ignition system. Otherwise, restore correct assembly using a feeler gauge. Also see
figure below
B. Defective equipment
1. Disconnect the heater from the power socket
2. Remove the upper movable mantle
3. Remove the electrodes from the combustion head. Make sure that the gap between electrodes is
ATTENTION!!!
Before completing this procedure,
disconnect the fan from the motor and
detach electrical contacts from the
solenoid valve.
This operation will protect you against
injury resulting from fan rotation or
accidental fuel ignition.
ATTENTION!!!
After connecting the heater to the power
socket, do not touch the electrodes. High
voltage is present. This may result in
electrical shocks.
