H. Burnt fuse or defective connections
1. Connect the power cable to the electrical power supply
2. Observe if the power mains voltage warning light on the control panel is on (see section 4 under the
electrical system item)
3. If it is not on, remove the control panel and verify the fuse integrity. In order to verify its integrity,
connect ohmmeter terminals to the fuse heads and verify that resistance is null. Otherwise,
replace it
4. Instead, if the warning light of the electrical panel is on, verify that the connections on the power
supply cable of the motor are not oxidised or damaged. If that is the case, replace them and
complete the ignition procedure once again
I. Damaged power supply cable
1. Check the integrity and continuity of the power supply cable. If necessary, replace it. An
indication on the condition of the power supply cable is given by the power ma ins voltage
warning light. If with the plug inserted in the power supply socket the warning light remains off, it
means that the power supply cable is interrupted (or that the line fuse is damaged, therefore see
previous point)
J. Tripped flame control equipment
1. Connect the heater to the electrical power supply
2. Verify that the reset warning light is not on. If it is, it means that the machine has tripped
3. Manually reset the machine by pressing the reset key
4. Complete the ignition procedure
K. Defective flame control equipment
1. If all previous verifications were unsuccessful, it may mean that the flame control equipment is
defective
2. Disconnect the heater from the electrical power supply
3. Remove the control panel
4. Replace the defective flame control equipment with another one that works. Repeat the ignition
procedure
Observed problem: The electrodes are often dirty/ignition is delayed
Possible cause
A. Poor fuel quality
B. The electrodes are too close to the diesel oil cone
C. Incorrect pump pressure
D. Dirty or damaged nozzle
Repair procedure
A. Poor fuel quality
Only use good quality fuel. Consult section 3 related to fuel choice and its characteristics
B. The electrodes are too close to the diesel oil cone
1. Remove the upper mantle
2. Disassemble the combustion chamber
3. Clean and restore the original gap between the electrodes using a feeler gauge (consult assembly
specifications of electrodes shown in section 4 under the ignition system item)
4. Reassemble the combustion head and the upper mantle
5. Connect the heater to the power socket and try to turn it on
C. Incorrect pump pressure
1. Install the manometer into the pump pressure plug. It is recommended to use a manometer with the
scale calibrated between 0 and 20 bar
