4. If the nozzle is dirty, do not try to clean it by inserting wires into the fuel outlet. Place the nozzle in a
non-flammable solvent and use compressed air to remove any dirt from the nozzle. Replace the worn

or damaged nozzle with a new one (See section 4 under the fuel system item)

A. Seized fuel pump

1. Disconnect the heater from the power plug
2. Remove the upper mantle

3. Rotate the fan and establish if the pump is free to rotate
4. If the fan rotates with difficulty or if it is blocked, loosen the three dowels keeping the pump fastened

5. Replace the pump if necessary

B. Defective motor

1. Disconnect the heater from the electrical power supply
2. Disconnect the control panel and remove the wires powering the motor

3. Connect the ohmmeter lead wires to the blue and brown wires and verify that the motor resistance is
not null. If this were not the case, the motor is defective and must be replaced. Properly adjust the
et ohmmeter scale
ro C. Motor in thermal protection
1. Disconnect the heater from the electrical power
2. If the thermal protection has tripped in the motor, it should be very hot. If that is the case, let it cool

down and then try to turn it on again

D. Defective relay
1. Disconnect the heater from the electrical plug

2. Take apart the electrical panel and check the condition of the relay. When it intervenes, it makes a
typical noise that may help establish if it is broken or not
