12 After the volume calibration has completed, the status of the calibration is indicated in the upper right
corner. Passed indicates that the calibration was successful. Otherwise Failed indicates that the new
tubing could not be identified correctly. In this case, repeat the calibration. If problem persists, contact
Miltenyi Biotec Technical Support.

Tube length calibration
The sample tubing is subject to wear, which could affect the tube volume. In order to renew the teaching
process, the Express Mode TubeLengthCalibration should be run once a week. This process is automated and
uses MACSQuant Calibration Beads. The process takes ~12min.
1 Go to the Experiment tab.
2 Go to the Settings tab.
3 Select the Express Mode radio button.
4 Select Setup from the Type drop-down menu.
5 Select TubeLengthCalibration from the Mode drop-down menu.
6 Select Single tube rack from the Rack drop-down menu.
