Malfunctions
6.1
Troubleshooting guide
Before contacting Customer Service:
Check whether the batteries in the remote control
•
are working perfectly.
Is the remote control paired with the control unit?
•
Pairing the electronic control unit with the radio remote
control see Kapitel 6.2.
Check that the caravan's 13-pole plug or adapter is
properly plugged into the safety socket.
Check that the caravan battery is in good condition
and is fully charged.
Battery performance can deteriorate considerably at
cold ambient temperatures.
Check that the fuse in the battery connector cable is
in order. If the fuse is defective, check the system for
possible short circuits.
If errors occur, the remote control always switches
off once the symbols have been shown.

Check the power supply (the

Interrupt the power supply
for at least 20 seconds. Res-
tore the power supply. The
green LED on the control unit
should be lit.
Interrupt the power supply
with the battery cut-off switch
and remove the key. Allow the
control unit to cool down for
at least 20 minutes. Then start
the manoeuvring system.

6.2
Pairing the electronic control unit
with the radio remote control
The remote control and the control unit are paired in the
factory.
If the control unit or the remote control is replaced, they
must be paired again.
The drive rollers must not be engaged
Check that the battery is properly connected and in
good condition, and that the control unit is being
supplied with 12 V.
Make sure that the caravan plug is plugged into the
safety socket.
Read the following instructions beforehand, as
you only have limited time for pairing (approx. 10
seconds).
You will need a pen, a small screwdriver or a similar
item to press the reset button (Fig. 33-1).
