Clean the oven
Wait until the oven has cooled down completely and clean it with warm
water and a non-caustic cleaning agent. When cleaning the oven, never
use knives, steel wool or other abrasive substances or objects. They
can damage the enamel inside your oven. Make sure that food residue
is removed after each use to prevent burn and smoke. An additional
advantage of regular cleaning is that there will be fewer annoying
odours and/or smoke the next time you want to bake something.
DO NOT cover the oven bottom with parchment paper, aluminium foil
or other materials to catch food waste. The included black enamel drip
tray is meant to catch food waste/cooking liquid and should always be
on the lowest rung of the side racks. If the drip pan is on the bottom of
the oven, then the oven bottom can be irreparably damaged.
