Electrical connection
Check that the voltage and the capacity of the power supply match the
information given on the type sticker found on your Boretti. The type sticker
may never be removed. The fuses and household mains system must be
able to withstand the load on the cooker. Connection to the electricity grid
can be fixed or done using a plug and socket. In the latter case, the plug and
the corresponding socket must comply with the applicable regulations.
Before in all connection methods, the cooker must be grounded. Before
connecting it, ensure that the power supply is properly grounded. Avoid
using transformers, adapters and/or extension cords.
Note
Look for the correct wiring diagrams at the back of this manual.
All six screws of the connection block must always be tightened
properly. Boretti is not liable for damage to persons or property
resulting from failure to comply with the above requirements or
due to changes made to the stove.
Note
All cookers come factory standard with a mono-phase
connection in the connection block at the back of the cooker.
When connecting to multiple phases, you must adapt them to
the correct (local) standards.
