The cutting height is determined by the position of the
side skids and rolls in relation to the bottom blade. The
height is adjustable between 9.5mm (3/8in) and 47mm
(1 7/8in).

To adjust
1)
Release the two nuts (A) which hold the front
of the skid to the main frame.
2)
Turn the adjuster (B) at the rear of the unit,
clockwise to reduce the height of cut, or
anticlockwise to increase the height of cut.
3)
After adjusting securely tighten the front two
nuts (A) on the skids.

The floating head can be locked up into three different
positions which are used when the grass length is too
high to allow efficient cutting in the free floating condition.

The first position allows a maximum height of
cut of 59mm (2 5/16in) to be achieved.
(b)
Locate the spring pin in the hole in the pivot
and mounting bracket and ensure that the hole
(B) in the mounting bracket is resting against
the top of the pin.
(c)
Securely tighten the front locknuts (A).
(d)
Raise or remove the front roll.
NOTE: This setting can also be used with the front roll
in the down position and will place the front roll
approximately 13mm (1/2in) above the rear roll and is
particularly suited to prevent scalping on very low
heights of cut. The height of cut is adjusted as in the
floating head configuration.

The second position allows a maximum height
of cut of 68mm (2 9/16in) to be achieved.
(b)
Release the forward locknut (A).
(c)
Pull the cutting unit up so that the mounting
hole in the mounting bracket locates up against
the bottom of the spring pin (B).

Re-tighten the locknut (A).
(e)
Raise or remove the front roll.
