The tension on the belt is correct when the belt can
be depressed 7 to 9mm (0.28 - 0.35in) under a load
of 10kgf (22lbs) midway between the crankshaft
pulley and the alternator pulley.
To adjust:
(a) Release the two bolts holding the (A Fig.40)
alternator and adjust alternator until the tension
is correct.
(b) Re-tighten the bolts securely after adjusting.

The mow foot pedal lever releases the divertor valve
spools via cables and a latch mechanism.
Adjustment is correct when full pedal travel releases
all divertor valves without pulling the latch pin out of
the clevis on divertor valve 1 . The cable to the front
divertor valves 2 & 3 should almost be fully
retracted.
To adjust:
(a) Release the locknut on the cable adjuster at
the foot pedal.
(b) Turn the adjuster to obtain correct adjustment.
(c)
Retighten the locknut securely after adjusting.

The rear wheels should be set parallel to each other.
The rear tyres should then be the same dimension
at the front and at the rear.
To adjust:
(a) Loosen the locknuts on the tie rods.
(b) Rotate tie rods until the wheels are correctly
set.
(c)
Re-tighten locknuts securely.
