The throttle lever is situated on the left hand side of
the operator to the rear of the hydraulic tank.
The lever should be moved up to decrease the
engine speed and down to increase the engine
speed.
NOTE: Engine should be used at full speed.

The starter switch is situated on the steering column
cowl in front of the operator.
The starter key should be turned clockwise to the
'pre-heat' (No. 2) position to heat the glowplugs
when the amber warning lamp goes out, turn the
starter key clockwise to the 'start' (No. 3) position to
start the engine. After starting, the key should be
released and allowed to return automatically to the
'on' (No. 1) position for normal running.

The engine temperature gauge is situated on the
steering column cowl in front of the operator.
This gauge indicates the coolant temperature. If the
temperature rises excessively, check the coolant
level in the radiator expansion bottle and also check
that the radiator mesh screen and the bug screen is
clear of debris.

The hourmeter is situated on the steering column
cowl in front of the operator.
This gauge registers the total number of hours the
machine has worked.
