SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
• Please read the safety and operating instructions carefully before installing and
commissioning the appliance and keep them for future reference.
• Do not touch hot surfaces during operation. Only use the controllers. Use oven
gloves and pot holders when removing the baking dish with the bread from the
appliance. Allow the appliance to cool before cleaning.
• Unplug the appliance before cleaning and when it is not in use or unattended.
Switch off the appliance before handling movable parts. Do not touch any movable
parts during operation.
• Only use parts and accessories recommended by the manufacturer as this may
result in damage to property and/or personal injury.
• This appliance is intended for household use only. Do not use it outdoors or in any
other place.
• Do not immerse the appliance in water or other liquids.
• This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons
with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and
knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the
appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children should
be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance. Cleaning and
user maintenance shall not be made by children unless they are older than 8 and
supervised. Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children.
• Make sure that no objects are placed on the power cord.
• Make sure that the power plug is always pulled out by the plug head and never by
the cable itself.
• Do not use the appliance if the power cord is damaged. If the power cord or plug
is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, an authorized service center,
or a similarly qualified person.
• Do not let the power cord hang over an edge of the table or hot surface.
• Do not allow the power cord to come into contact with hot surfaces and do not
place flammable objects or explosive materials on the appliance.
• Do not place the appliance near ovens or other heat sources.
• The minimum distance between the unit and the wall should be more than 5 cm.
• The appliance is not intended to be operated by means of an external timer or
separate remote-control system.
• Before using the unit, check the voltage on the nameplate. Only connect the unit to
an outlet that corresponds to the voltage of the unit.
• Do not touch the pins of the power plug when unplugging it.
• Always attach the plug to the appliance first, then plug the cord into the wall outlet.
To disconnect, turn any control to OFF, then remove the plug from the wall outlet.
• Clean all surfaces that come into contact with food.
• Extreme caution must be used when moving an appliance containing hot oil or
other hot liquids.
• Never switch on the appliance if there are no ingredients in the bread pan.
• Never beat the bread pan on the top or edge to remove the pan, this may damage
the bread pan.
• Do not operate the unit without bread pan placed in the chamber to avoid
damaging the appliance.
