p) Receiver and drive control unit
These components are not included in the delivery. The receiver is included with your remote control, the
drive control unit needs to be ordered separately.
The receiver is attached to the underside of the receiver bracket "EH1" with double-sided adhesive tape. In addition
it is to be affixed with cable ties inserted through the slit in the receiver bracket. This ensures that the receiver will not
come loose.
The drive control is attached to the upper side of the chassis bridge "CB1" with double-sided adhesive tape. Be careful
to ensure that the car body still fits as you do this!
The drive control unit switch can also be attached with double-sided adhesive tape, e.g. to the steering servo.
Pass the antenna cable on the receiver through the "AN1" holder and then through the antenna tube. Insert the
antenna tube into the "AN1" holder. Affix the antenna cable at the upper end of the antenna tube with a rubber cap.
When laying the antenna cable, ensure that it doesn't enter the cardan shaft or other rotating parts. Never shorten the
antenna cable!
Connect the steering servo and the drive control unit with the receiver. Consult the operating instructions for the
remote control to determine which connections the steering servo and drive control unit need to be attached.
