Install the drive axle as shown in the figure. Place the "Z1" cog in the correct orientation on the axle "AC1" and affix it
there with the small securing ring "SR1". Then push the two bearings "K2" (5 x 11 x 4mm) onto the axle and then the
plastic sheath "A5" (ensure correct orientation, the axle fits through the flattened area in one position only inside the
sheath).
Then secure the plastic sheath "A5" to the axle with the long black split pin "ST1".

Place the bevel cog differential "A4" and the constructed drive axle
into the housing base component labelled "A3". Smear a suitable
grease (model construction gearing grease) onto the teeth of both
cogs.
Check whether the two bearings are seated properly as per the
figure on the right.
Place the housing upper component "A2" onto the bearings such
that the guides sit in the housing components.
Finally mount the housing upper component "A1", then you can
screw the three housing components "A1", "A2" and "A3" together.
Four long self-tapping screws "S2" (thread length 15mm) are fitted
around the edges and one short self-tapping screw "S1" (thread
length 10mm - see figure right) is placed in the upper middle of the
upper part of the housing.
This completes construction of the front differential.
