7. perform a third spin. This last calibration phase includes the execution of three con-
secutive spins in automatic mode.
If the calibration has been successful, a permission acoustic signal goes off at the end of the
spin; otherwise, the E 2 message is temporarily displayed.
Notes:
- Once the procedure is finished, remove the calibration weight.
- Press the button
- This calibration is valid for any kind of wheel.
This procedure is used to calibrate the potentiometer of the external sensor (width). It must
be performed when the machine requests it by displaying the E4 message, or when the
measured and the actual rim widths differ.
- Select the Width measuring device calibration icon
- Bring the automatic width measuring arm into contact with the wheel contact flange as shown
in Fig. 23.
