Combo Mixing
Combination Mixing is available to create OR mixing where 2
conditions can be set, and if either condition occurs, the mix will
be active. You can also create AND mixing where 2 conditions
must be met to activate a mix. To use Combination Mixing,
activate a mix as desired. Then in the switch selection, select
Combo Sw. Select the Switch 1 as desired for the mix. Then
select the position you would like the mix to be active in.
(The mix will be active when the switch position block is filled in
rather than empty.) Then select the Relation as desired, either
INH, OR, or AND. Then select Switch 2 as desired. Next, select
the switch modes where you would like the mix to be active. If
the Relation is set to OR, the mix will be active if either of the ON
positions (filled boxes for each switch position) is met by moving
the switches into either position. If the Relation is set to AND,
the mix will be active only when both switch position conditions
are met.. There is a status indicator on the bottom of the Combo
screen that shows the current status, either Inhibit or Active.
Make sure the function is Active when desired and Inhibit when
desired. Then select BACK to complete the program mix.

Sequencer

This feature provides this-then-that-mixing with a time delay.
Five different sequences (S1 through S5) are available control-
ling 2 functions each (A and B), in 2 timing directions (forward
or reverse). Sequences appear throughout function screens as
assignable switches.
CAUTION: Always review the action of a sequence on
the Monitor or X-Plus Monitor screen BEFORE operating
the model to ensure controls act as desired. Failure to do so
could cause a crash, resulting in property damage and or injury.
You can program multiple functions to sequentially activate in
response to an assigned switch. For example, an assigned Gear
switch could open gear doors, lower the gear, then close doors
again. In reverse, gear doors open, gear retracts and doors close
again.
Also, each sequencer function (A or B) can be assigned to work
as a switch in most Function screens such as Flight Mode,
Dual Rate, Mixing, Throttle Curve, Pitch Curve, etc. Assigning a
sequence as a switch allows you to set up a sequence of func-
tions, triggered by the switch assigned in the Sequencer screen.

The Master (left side) names are inputs, not channels. "Aileron"
is the "Aileron Stick" not a displaced aileron value. The Slave
(right side) names are channel names of the channel receiving
the mix command. Some channels are paired (Left and Right
Aileron) and mixing to one side has a different effect than mixing
to the other side.

Back Mixing

Back mixing uses paired channels so that a mix applies to all
related servos in an Aircraft Type setup. For example, on a 2AIL,
2FLAP Wing, a mix to one aileron affects both ailerons. The side
you mix to as slave (for example, left aileron or LAIL) will have
a different effect than mixing to the other side (right aileron or
RAIL). If you mix THR (throttle) > LAIL, as you change throttle
both ailerons move the same direction up or down. If you mix
THR > RAIL, as you change throttle, the ailerons move the op-
posite direction for increased roll. Back mixing allows you to use
fewer mixes to achieve correct function for most mix operations.
This mixing is always active on paired surfaces, as you select
them in Airplane or Sailplane Types. This feature can be used to
create a flap mix, a split action on the rudder (drag brakes), or to
add roll to a split elevator.
Several functions could be operated in a sequence to decrease
the number of controls you need to touch during complex flight
transitions. (For example, when gear extends then the flight
mode changes, applying your assigned rates and expo. Other
functions could be set to occur in a sequence, such as when the
nose gear is fully extended, then the nose steering is activated.)
When S1A (or another sequence-number-A) is selected as
a switch in a function, the sequence will operate as a timed
5-position switch. The 5 positions correspond to the sequencer
values shown on the time delay graph in the second Sequencer
screen. In a function screen, highlight each point (0-4) and
select the switch position desired for a function to be active.
When S1B (or another sequence-number-B) is selected as
a switch in a function, the sequence will operate as a timed
3-position switch. The 3 positions act as 'kick points' of the
movement at fixed percentages (equal thirds) of the sequencer
output. In a function screen, highlight each point (0-2) and select
the switch position desired for a function to be active.
