Attention
The BSD is only an aid. It is not intended to, nor
does it ever replace, the need for the rider to use
extreme care while operating the motorcycle. The
rider is and must always remain responsible for safe
lane changes, controlling the motorcycle's speed,
maintaining a safe distance from the vehicle ahead
appropriate to the environmental conditions,
complying with applicable laws in the state or
country where s/he is riding, as well as for actively
intervening to avoid collisions by steering, braking or
accelerating. The rider must always maintain a very
high level of concentration while riding, always
keeping both hands on the handlebars.

Attention
The BSD is not a substitute for active
involvement of the rider in the motorcycle's
operation. The BSD helps the rider to monitor
vehicles that arrive from behind but does not replace
the rider. The rider is always responsible for
monitoring the traffic around the motorcycle. The
BSD is particularly effective for use on highways and
urban roads. The system works correctly in the
presence of a consistent riding style. It does not work
at all or does not work correctly in overtaking
maneuvers between lines of vehicles queuing, lane
splitting between vehicles (where permitted by law),
and in collision avoidance weaving maneuvers
between vehicles. In these types of situation, the
system may behave unexpectedly or provide
incorrect information to the rider.
Attention
The BSD is only available with ABS on and set
to level 2 or 3, and with Traction Control on.
The motorcycle is equipped with two radar sensors:
one in the front and one in the rear. The BSD uses
only the information from the rear radar sensor. The
