2 Scope of delivery

Each of the following components is included once in the delivery of the fiber preparation set, REF 79-111-

Fiber stripper for 600-µm bare fiber, blue grip keys

Checking the delivery for completeness and correctness

Immediately after receiving the delivery, check that it is complete and in good condition.
Report any damage that occurs during transit promptly.

3 Intended use

3.1

Purpose

The fiber preparation set is used to prepare laser fibers from Gebrüder Martin GmbH & Co. KG.
3.2

Indications

The fiber preparation set is used to prepare laser fibers from Gebrüder Martin GmbH & Co. KG for:
• Reprocessing reusable bare fibers
• Performing surgery with bare fiber
3.3

Contraindications

• The use of the fiber preparation set is contraindicated for non-bare fibers and laser fibers from
manufacturers other than Gebrüder Martin.
• The fiber preparation set is not suitable for use with gas-flushed fibers.
• The fiber preparation set is not suitable for use on the VENEX 360° laser fiber.
