•
Press the <ascent> button (5), raise the MINIBENCH
MAXIPLUS by approx. 30 cm and stop.
•
Check the stability of the vehicle and clamps.
•
Press the <ascent> button (5) again to continue
raising the lift until you reach the required height.
•
Secure the MINIBENCH MAXIPLUS in position by
pressing the <descent> button (4) until the lift comes
to rest on the mechanical safety stops.
•
Lock the clamps by fi rst securing the upper horizontal
screws of each clamp and then the lower horizontal
ones.
Complete locking by tightening the screws of the clamps
below the supports.
WARNING! If a dangerous situation occurs,
immediately press the red mushroom-shaped
emergency stop button.
4.3.1. USING THE ADJUSTABLE PULL ARM
When the adjustable pull arm is fi tted to the MINIBENCH
MAXIPLUS, diagonal pulls can be performed in optimum
conditions because the bar upright can be rotated on the
vertical plane. In this case, the best working condition
is obtained by fi rst rotating the base of the pull arm
with respect to the lift on the horizontal plane using the
adjustment plate (3) and then by rotating the upright (2)
to the correct pull direction. To perform this operation,
proceed as follows (fi g. 5):
•
Push the lever (9) all the way until it comes to the
end of its stroke: in this way, the mechanism (5)
automatically releases the coupling pin (8), freeing the
base (1) from the adjustment plate (3).
•
Rotate the pull arm to the required side until you reach
the selected position
•
Fully release the lever (13) and slowly rotate the pull
arm until the coupling pin returns to its housing on the
adjustment plate, re-locking the whole unit.
DANGER! Before rotating the pull arm upright
on the vertical plane, check that there are no
persons, animals or things in the working
range of the upright. Incorrect operation or
accidental collapse of the upright can result in
serious injury and damage. You are advised to
use two people for this operation if possible.
•
Slowly rotate the pull arm upright to the required side
until you reach the selected position.
•
Completely release the control lever and slowly rotate
the upright until the coupling mechanism returns to its
housing, thus locking the fl ange (4).
•
Position the pulley (14) on the upright (2) by locking
it in place at the required height by means of the pin
(15).
•
Fit the pull chain (13).
•
Attach the free end of the pull chain to the point of the
vehicle you wish to straighten, ensuring that the chain
is suffi ciently taut.
•
Connect the compressed air pipe (16) to the fast
coupling of the pump and tension the pull arm by
means of the proper control.

4.3.2 REMOVING THE PULL BAR FROM THE
MINIBENCH MAXIPLUS
When you wish to remove the pull arm from the MINIBENCH
MAXIPLUS, proceed as follows (see the picures):
WARNING! Before lowering the lift, check
that below and around there are no persons,
animals or things that could be trapped or
crushed in the event of the vehicle falling off.
CAUTION!
Never
MAXIPLUS in the <COMPLETE DESCENT>
mode when the pull arm is inserted: this can
result in serious damage to the structures of
both the arm and lift.
•
Press the <ascent> button (5), raise the MINIBENCH
MAXIPLUS to a height of approx. 50 cm and stop.
•
Press the safety release button (6) and with your other
hand press the <descent> button (4).
•
Keep both hands on the controls until the MINIBENCH
MAXIPLUS has come to a complete stop, checking
that the pull arm wheels are positioned on the ground
or are skimming over the fl oor.
•
Pull the pneumatic release control (11) of the pull arm
retaining mechanism, in this way freeing the pin that
locks the block on the support.
•
Slide the pull arm out of the support and position it
so that it does not obstruct the free circulation of the
equipment and vehicles in the shop.
