SECTION 7
SYSTEMS
7 LIFT SYSTEMS
The MINIBENCH-MAXIPLUS is electrohydraulically operated. The main source of energy is electricity, supplied from the
mains in the bodyshop where it is installed. The lift is hydraulically powered by means of a gear pump. The lift pull bar is
hydraulically powered by a hydraulic-pneumatic piston pump, which is supplied with compressed air coming from the
bodyshop distribution system, or an external accumulation unit (not supplied).
7.1 LIFT HYDRAULIC DIAGRAM
The operating diagram of the MINIBENCH-MAXIPLUS
hydraulic system consists of a circuit with the following
main components:
1)
Lift control gear pump.
2)
Three-phase electric motor.
3)
Main pressure relief valve.
4)
Motor-pump coupling joint.
5)
Suction fi lter.
6)
Unidirectional valve.
7)
Quick-fi t pressure gauge connection.
8)
Flow control valve.
9)
2-way/2-position
solenoid
control.
10) Safety lock valve (against pipe breakage).
11) Single-acting pair of jacks for lift control.
12) Control unit tank.
13) Electrohydraulic unit.
• OPERATION
By enabling the ascent control, the electric motor (2)
rotates the pump (1); the oil under pressure is conveyed
to the plunger chambers of the pair of jacks (11) and
passes through the lock valve (10) thus raising the mobile
platform.
The lift is lowered by means of the solenoid valve (9) which
connects the main duct to the outlet, thus allowing the oil to
fl ow into the tank (12).
The fl ow control valve (8) controls the fl ow of oil from the
jacks, thus keeping the descent speed within the limits
provided for by the manufacturer.
The main pressure relief valve (3) prevents the pressure
exceeding the value established by the manufacturer.
The relief valve must not be tampered with for any
reason:
WARNING! Alteration of the relief valve will
seriously damage the MINIBENCH MAXIPLUS:
SPANESI S.p.A. declines all responsibility for
injury to persons and animals or damage to
property due to alteration of the valve.
